Luttrell Staffing Group is recruiting Production | Seasoning / Mix Specialist positions for our partner, T.Marzetti, in Horse Cave, KY - Apply Today!

Duties for Quality Production | Seasoning / Mix Specialist position:

  • Operates HMI’s (computer panel controls) to regulate and control bulk ingredients and pumping flows

  • Weighs ingredients for mixing process

  • Records all information as required

  • Rolls or pushes ingredient drums and pallets to weigh and prepare for each batch according to schedule and specifications

  • Reads scales and performs arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately

  • Maintains standard production quantities/rates for each product

  • Cleans and rinses equipment according to specified procedures

  • Monitors equipment to detect malfunctions; makes minor adjustments/repairs; communicates mechanical problems to maintenance

  • Mounts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hoppers or other feeding devices

  • Coordinates information and equipment with prior and next shifts Leads and other dept

  • Fills in for and assists other departments when necessary

  • Regular Attendance is required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures

  • Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Lead and Management

  • Complete initial/annual training to ensure the individual is properly qualified (QI) to perform all required job tasks as outlined in training programs/records




Requirements for Production | Seasoning / Mix Specialist position:

 

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Make and record observations and efficiently organize work tasks and time
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
  • Previous quality assurance experience (in food manufacturing preferred)
  • General Microsoft skills
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp
  • Exposed to heat, fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment and non-toxic industrial waste and scrap
  • Wear PPE equipment and follow OSHA and company guidelines
