Details for the Production Team Lead position:
· $19-$25 / Hour
· Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job duties for Production Team Lead positions:
· Follow safety standards with proper PPE hazard removal and site cleanliness
· Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including crawlers, balers, and shredders; if possible and as needed
· Move equipment in response to hand signals or radio commands
· Load and unload materials using magnets grapples forklifts and other mobile equipment
· Sort and separate metals identify scrap grades and remove nonconforming materials
· Position trailers containers and empty gaylord boxes in yard as needed
· Perform daily equipment inspections and assist mechanics with maintenance
· Use hand tools torches and other equipment for physical labor tasks
· Maintain plant equipment through cleaning and general housekeeping
· Direct and assist customers or drivers as required
· Perform additional duties and operate other equipment as assigned
· Ensure production of palatized aluminum is being done efficiently
· Safely empty scrap bins inside the plant in a safe, prompt manner
· Direct employees' day to day work, keeping the work area clean and free of hazards
· Report all defective equipment and PPE violations to management
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Production Team Lead position:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must comply with a hair follicle drug screen
· Be willing to work directly with new hires and assist in training
· Wear PPE as required
· Ability to read write and perform basic math
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to follow oral and written instructions as well give clear instructions and communicate with others in professional and respectful manner
· Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accurate records
· Comfortable working outdoors in dust dirt vibrations and varying weather conditions
· Ability to stand for duration of shift
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
