Details for Production Planner positions:
- Full-Time
- Direct Hire
- 8:30am-5pm
- $70, 000 / year
Duties for Production Planner positions:
- Responsible for resource allocation, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout all assigned projects
Serve as the primary technical communication link with various suppliers and tool shops
Plan and implement engineering projects per management and customer requirements
Develop and maintain a schedule for assigned engineering projects
Provide status reports on project milestones
Manage assigned projects as the key technical person and work with the respective personnel concerning issues
Monitor costs of the project
Assign duties or responsibilities across the project team
Coordinate all aspects of production line transfers
Make recommendations regarding capital tooling and equipment
Other duties as needed
Can you see yourself in this position?
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; or minimum 5 years related experience; or a combination of the two
3-5 years of Project Management Experience (required)
Knowledge of LEAN principles (preferred)
Ability to use the following software programs when performing duties of this position: MRPII (MAC-PAC), CAD (SolidWorks, Pro Engineer or AutoCAD), MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, several CAM software packages
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
