Details for Purchasing Assistant | Procurement Position:
- $19-19 / Hour
- Full-Time | Short-Term Temp.

Job Duties for Purchasing Assistant | Procurement Position:
- Run reports, order raw materials/supplies, and manage shipment pickups for assigned plant
- Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and conduct supply/component price comparisons
- Update internal databases with vendor pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supplier contact details
- Maintain current supplier information and material description files
- Serve as purchasing backup for other buyers and fill in for the Purchasing Manager as needed
- Follow all policies and procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Purchasing Assistant | Procurement Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrates professionalism with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and keen attention to detail
