Job Description
Did you go to school for Business or a related field? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Purchasing Coordinator/Supply Chain positions in Clarksville, TN.
Details for Purchasing Coordinator position:
- 50k-60k
- Full-Time | Direct-Hire

Job Duties for Purchasing Coordinator:
- Oversee and maintain parts inventory storeroom, ensuring proper levels and organization
- Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and process department requisitions
- Comply with safety and company policies while researching vendors for price, quality, and reliability
- Develop relationships and negotiate quotes with wholesalers and suppliers
- Assess financial risks of purchases and match purchase orders with packing slips for payment
- Attend trade shows and conferences to stay updated on new products and trends
- Assist Management in securing quotes for project bids
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Purchasing Coordinator:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent management experience with a minimum of four years purchasing experience required
- Inventory experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Efficient and accurate typing skills, especially in legal purchasing
- Strong information compilation and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to sit for duration of shift
