Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Quality Assurance Technician positions in Greeneville, TN.

Job Duties for Quality Assurance Technician position: 
  • Conduct testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process, and finished pipe to ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards
  • Perform dock, line, and process audits to verify product quality, labeling, packaging, and workmanship
  • Review and comply with QTs, SQPs, and other quality documents to confirm standard adherence
  • Support QA Supervisor and Production teams in resolving non-conformance issues and controlling non-conforming products
  • Provide training and guidance on quality standards, best practices, and process improvements
  • Manage calibration and maintenance of gauges and measuring equipment, ensuring database accuracy and sufficient inventory
  • Collect, inspect, document, and ship customer samples; manage all periodic and special testing requirements and record retention
  • Participate in internal ISO 9001 audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections, ensuring findings are addressed and closed
  • Maintain and review QA documentation, supporting continuous updates and improvements
  • Engage in LEAN, 5S, and safety initiatives to enhance processes, teamwork, and workplace safety
  • Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
  • Other duties as needed 
 
Job Requirements and Desired Skills for Quality Assurance Technician position: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent with prior related experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with ability to train, motivate, and collaborate effectively
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methods, manufacturing safety, compliance standards, and continuous improvement practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, or OSHA 10
  • Proficient computer and organizational skills with attention to detail; experience with MS Office and ERP systems preferred
  • Basic math, reading, and mechanical skills with ability to identify products by color, size, and material
  • Ability to troubleshoot, resolve problems, and work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of performing physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and handling materials for the duration of the shift
  • Able to work in varying temperatures and loud environments while wearing required PPE (safety glasses, footwear, gloves, hearing protection, etc.)
