Job Description

Job duties for this Quality Technician OR Lead Quality Technician position:
· Approve and correct batches with mastery of basic lab techniques (basic lab skills, math/formulas, and testing equipment)
· Perform lab checks
· Complete specific tasks per SOP and preform pre-ops and Preventative Control (PC) checks
· Perform physical and analytical tests
· Perform special audits
· Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
· Other duties as required

· 2 years prior related work experience required
· Must be able to communicate in English
· Lab experience in a manufacturing setting
· Ability to follow written instructions
· Basic math and computer skills
· Ability to process quality documentation within a timely manner
· Ability to work in fluctuating climate environments, around dust, fumes, chemicals, oil/grease, Allergens, and frequent moisture during the cleaning process of production area
· Good attention to detail
· Hand dexterity
· Ability to stand for duration of shift
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
