Self-Determination Coordinator
The Self-Determination Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in navigating the program. This position involves a variety of administrative, operational, and client-oriented tasks to ensure its smooth functioning. Bring your 2+ years of related experience and play a key role in connecting qualified professionals with families participating in the program.

Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with Financial Management Services (FMS), Independent Facilitators, regional center staff, and service providers.
- Recruit, screen, and place candidates in Self-Determination Program roles
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training for new hires
- Serve as the main point of contact and support for families regarding staffing needs
- Maintain accurate records of placements, schedules, and performance
- Support payroll processing and assist with timecard management
- Monitor program compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and funding requirements.
- Participate in community outreach and educational efforts to promote understanding of the Self-Determination Program.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and staff to ensure satisfaction
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Self-Determination program experience
- Professional communication and prompt follow-through
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
