Job Description
Do you have warehouse, forklift operation and shipping experience? Luttrell Staffing Group Morristown, TN, in partnership with Swaggerty's Farm, is hiring Shipping | Forklift positions in Kodak, TN. Please click on the link below to apply! The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee is frequently exposed to cold conditions ranging below -20 degrees freezer suits required. This job requires the use of PPE that includes slip-resistant boots, gloves, bibs, jacket that are rated for freezer. In some area’s the noise level in the freezer can be loud (not exceeded 85 db.)

- Warehouse associate duties include wrapping pallets, pulling orders, scanning
- Move controls, devices and levers to drive forklifts of industry to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading and storage areas
- Organizing and securing stored materials
- Performing routine post and pre-inspections to ensure suitable working nature of forklift equipment
- Reporting to supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards
- Consulting, working and coordinating with supervisors, managers, equipment manufactures, and employees regarding unloading and loading operations
- Wrapping material loads with a wrapper and making clean the warehouse premises
- Pick, pull and stage orders as needed
- Comprehend instructions and retain information
- Start use of Forklift after 2nd week
- High school diploma or GED is helpful, but not required
- Previous freezer/forklift related work helpful, but not required
- Communicate clearly and concisely in writing and spoken word
- Moderate reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to sit or stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to stoop, squat, bend kneel, twist and reach
- Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze and find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems
- Ability to work alone and with others
- Ability to utilize available time to organize & complete work within given deadlines
