Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Warehouse Shipping / Receiving Lead positions in Independence, VA.
Details for Warehouse Shipping / Receiving Lead Position:
· $40k / Year
· Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
· Occasional Overtime as Needed
· Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
· Weekly Pay
. 1st Shift, M - F, 7am to 4pm
Job Duties for Warehouse Shipping / Receiving Lead Position:
· Oversee all shipping and receiving functions according to schedule
· Plan and schedule shipments, ensuring space, staffing, and logistics needs are met
· Direct daily activities of shipping/receiving clerks for efficient warehouse operations
· Maintain and update accurate inventory records, documentation, and product traceability
· Account for incoming and outgoing product, reporting stock issues or unusable items
· Organize, clean, and catalog warehouse to support 5S practices and safe working conditions
· Troubleshoot shipping, receiving, and customer issues, coordinating with managers, suppliers, and carriers
· Communicate with Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and logistics partners to resolve challenges and maintain flow
· Stay current with federal and state regulations and company safety rules
· Participate in ongoing training and perform other duties as assigned
· Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Warehouse Shipping / Receiving Lead Position:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
· Able to work and communicate effectively at all levels
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Proficient with computer systems, email management, and Microsoft Office
· Able to work well under pressure while meeting requirements and specifications
· Capable of making sound judgments based on factual data with minimal supervision
· Skilled at managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
· Courteous, tactful, and objective in supporting company quality objectives
· Able to operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks to move large or bulky products
· Ability to stand for duration of shift
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
