Do you have any shipping or warehouse experience? Luttrell Staffing is currently hiring Shipping / Receiving Warehouse Clerk positions in Shepherdsville, KY.
  
  
Details for Shipping / Receiving Warehouse Clerk Position:
- $19 / Hour
- Monday-Friday | 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
- Weekly Pay
Job Duties for Shipping / Receiving Warehouse Clerk Position:
- Coordinate daily shipping operations by scheduling appointments, checking drivers in and out, maintaining shipping documentation, and ensuring efficient freight movement
- Serve as primary point of contact for drivers, warehouse personnel, and transportation carriers
- Schedule and manage inbound and outbound freight appointments
- Check drivers in and out, verifying paperwork and shipment documentation
- Communicate with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and carriers on dock availability and shipment status
- Prepare and process bills of lading, shipping manifests, and transportation documents
- Monitor shipping schedules and resolve delays or conflicts
- Enter shipment data into warehouse management and transportation systems
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver arrivals/departures, and inventory movements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
- Provide customer service to drivers and transportation partners
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Shipping / Receiving Warehouse Clerk Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and shipping/logistics software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
