Job Description

Details for Commercial Class A Driver | CDL Position:
- $29-31 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Commercial Class A Driver | CDL Position:
- Transport, deliver, relocate, and remove modular office trailers, buildings over 3 tons, and storage containers
- Perform set-ups, knockdowns, loading, and unloading of modular units and storage containers
- Block, level, and anchor office trailers during delivery and removal
- Install tie downs, including operating heavy equipment such as jack hammers
- Load and unload truck and trailer materials, including steps, piers, and pads
- Inspect and maintain truck, equipment, and supplies to ensure safety and roadworthiness
- Perform basic emergency roadside repairs (e.g., changing tires, replacing bulbs and fuses)
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, collect customer signatures, and submit documents to dispatcher
- Communicate regularly with dispatcher for instructions and safety updates
- Hold a valid Class A Driver’s License and demonstrate knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Commercial Class A Driver | CDL Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience preferred
- Must have valid driver's license and ability to get CDL
- Ability to sit for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
