Details for Spot Welder position:

• Full-Time
• Temp-to-Hire
• $16 - $24 / hour
• Monday-Thursday, 6am-3pm, Fridays 6am-Noon
• 40 plus hours per week

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate spot welding machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and use them to inspect work
• Identify metals and materials needed
• Plan a welding sequence
• Select proper electrode type and size and regulate current and voltage
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

• • Prior spot welding or related work experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and identify metals
  • Basic math skills
  • Hand dexterity
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
