Job Description
Ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our internal team. This role could be the perfect fit if you enjoy variety in your day-to-day work and take pride in getting the numbers just right.

Key Responsibilities for Staff Accountant:
- Record journal entries and financial transactions using accounting software
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to track financial data and support special projects
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support payroll tax submissions and respond to audit data requests
- Assist team members with accounting-related inquiries
- Manage business licenses, property taxes, and unclaimed property filings
- Contribute to treasury tasks and provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
Qualifications for Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas are your friends)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, dependable work ethic
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
