Job Description
Key duties and details for Streets Laborer:
- Maintenance of city streets, leaf removal and filling potholes
- Trimming, cutting trees, and lawn maintenance on city streets and rights-of-way
- Snow removal from city buildings and entrances
- Assist with closed roads and detours as work is being conducted
- Schedule: 7am-5pm
Qualifications for Streets Laborer:
- Ability to utilize hand tools, rakes, shovels, tree trimmer, chainsaw, and mowers
- Must be able to operate light to heavy grade equipment
- Must be able to work in all various types of weather and occasional exposure to dust, fumes, gases and other chemicals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, lift, carry, and reach
