Details for TIG Welder | MIG Welder positions:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- $17.50-20/hr
- 6:30am-3:00pm
Can you see yourself in this TIG Welder | MIG Welder position?
- Weld aluminum tube on a production line setting
- Use TIG and MIG welding processes to fabricate standard and custom aluminum products
- Fabricate and maintain JIGS for products
- Assist the Lead Welder and Assistant Production Manager
- Guide electrode, torch and filler rod at specified speed and angle to melt and deposit metal from filler rod onto work piece
- Use blueprints and weld symbols
- Tack weld designated spots to secure work pieces for other welders
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and other duties as assigned
Job requirements for these positions:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year technical school and/or two years of related experience
- AWS Certification
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Ability to pass a skills test using aluminum TIG and MIG process
- Ability to read and understand calipers, protractors, tape measures both standard and metric, and other measuring devices
- Ability to use welding machine, pneumatic and electric and basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
