Job Description

Do you have manufacturing or carpentry experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Assembly | Production positions in Alcoa, TN.
  
Details for Assembly | Production position:
  • $14 / Hour (Opportunity to Increase)
  • Full-Time | Long-Term Temp
  • Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
  • Weekly Pay
 
Job Duties for Assembly | Production:
  • Review shop orders, verify materials, and dimensions for project accuracy
  • Operate table saws, staple guns, and hand/power tools to assemble trusses
  • Build trusses per specifications
  • Load finished trusses and wall panels for shipment
  • Operate material handling equipment (motorized and non-motorized material)
  • Communicate effectively with team and supervisors
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace
  • Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
  • Completes any other related tasks as needed
 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Assembly | Production:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous carpentry, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient carpentry skills or quick learner
  • Dexterous, skilled with woodworking, hand & power tools
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Works well with all levels and the public
  • Reads tape measures accurately
  • Tolerates variable temperatures (not climate controlled), dust, and noise
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, push, pull, and reach
