Job Description
Sierra Employment/ Luttrell Staffing is currently hiring an Universal Ambassador position in Santa Clara, CA. 
   
   
Details for Universal Ambassador position: 
- $17.69-25.73/ Hour 
- Based out of the Bishop, CA branch with flexibility to travel to Lone Pine, CA as needed
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Occasional Overtime
- Perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise
 
Job duties for Universal Ambassador: 
- Open and maintain member accounts while educating members on available products and services
- Assist with IRA certificates, CDs, shared certificates, account transfers, rollovers, and closures
- Process member requests including checkbook orders, automatic transfers, ACH transactions, outgoing wires, safe deposit box maintenance, and notary services
- Support members with credit card and loan applications, fraud concerns, and other account-related needs
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products, services, and programs that benefit members
- Provide teller support as needed
- Maintain compliance with company policies, banking regulations, the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC requirements
- Completes any other related tasks as needed 
 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Universal Ambassador: 
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- FiCEP Certified Financial Counselor certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire
- Six months to two years of related customer service, financial services, or banking experience
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain information and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform basic financial calculations accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with routine office equipment and computer-based work for extended periods
- Ability to work extended hours as needed and navigate stairs in emergencies
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
