Job Duties for Utility Operator:
- Follow all workplace safety procedures
- Assemble and reassemble components into subassemblies or finished products according to standardized work instructions and cycle-time requirements
- Read bills of materials to identify and pull required assembly components
- Use hand tools, light to medium overhead air equipment, and quality measurement tools such as plug gauges, depth gauges, and calipers
- Operate a pallet jack to move products and materials as needed
- Maintain a productive pace while working at various assembly workstations
- Remain flexible and train for additional roles within the business unit
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Requirements for Utility Operator:
- Diploma / GED preferred
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 40-50 lbs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
