Job Description
Do you have forklift experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Certified Forklift Operator positions in Elizabethton, TN.
Details for Certified Forklift Operator Position:
- $15-16 / Hour

Job Duties for Certified Forklift Operator Position:
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials between trucks, storage, and production areas
- Stack and organize finished pallets in designated storage or staging zones
- Inspect equipment before use and promptly report maintenance or safety issues
- Keep work areas clean and organized while following safety and housekeeping guidelines
- Assist with inventory counts and accurately track material movements as needed
- Adhere to company procedures and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support efficient operations
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Certified Forklift Operator Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift certification/license required
- Experienced operating forklifts in fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Skilled in pallet handling and familiar with wood products or similar materials
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
- Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Flexible availability for overtime or weekend shifts as required
- Comfortable working around loud machinery and in varying indoor/outdoor temperatures
- Thrives in safety-focused, dynamic production settings
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
