*Production Inventory Specialist
Job Description
- $20.00 - $23.00 / Hour

- Monitors inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels for production needs.
- Tracks inventory movements, including material consumption, production output, scrap, and returns, using inventory management systems or spreadsheets.
- Generates purchase requisitions or work orders to replenish inventory in accordance with production schedules and inventory levels.
- Coordinates with procurement or purchasing teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and components to support production activities.
- Conducts regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies, working with production and warehouse teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintains accurate inventory records, including item descriptions, quantities, locations, and transaction history.
- Ensures proper documentation of inventory movements, adjustments, and transfers, following established procedures and protocols
- Generates inventory reports and analysis to provide insights into inventory levels, usage trends, and variances
- Analyzes inventory data to support maintenance and updates of inventory management systems and software, ensuring data integrity and system functionality
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and IQMS.
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B. S.) from a four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Required vision abilities include close vision and depth perception.
