Job Description
If you’re comfortable working at heights and want to start a career in a warehouse environment, we have the perfect position with weekly pay for you. Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Shipping & Receiving Operator | Warehouse positions in Scottsville, KY.
Details for Shipping & Receiving Operator | Warehouse Position:
- $15.80 / Hour

Job Duties for Shipping & Receiving Operator | Warehouse Position:
- Load and unload truck shipments
- Stock, pick, transfer, and wrap parts and materials
- Fulfill customer orders and kanbans
- Verify product labels, packing lists, and receipts for accuracy and damage
- Record deliveries and follow abnormal procedures as needed
- Inspect paperwork and product condition on inbound shipments, reporting errors or damage
- Monitor product flow in and out of shipping to ensure compliance with S&R work instructions
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, promoting safety regulations
- Notify supervisor of any system errors
- Operating a pallet jack, forklift, and stand-up lift
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Shipping & Receiving Operator | Warehouse Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to obtain picker, forklift, and stand-up lift certification
- Able to operate pallet jack, forklift, and stand-up lift
- Able to work at heights up to 18 feet
- Must wear all required PPE, including bump caps, safety toe shoes, safety glasses, and other items as needed
- Personal weight must not exceed 325 lbs due to safety equipment restrictions
- Able to lift and stack up to 60 pounds and boxes up to 66 inches high
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
