Duties for Picking Clerk | Distribution positions: 

• Unload incoming trucks in a timely manner 

• Accurately sort, check in, and break down freight as needed 

• Learn and perform all Receiving Department operations 

• Complete RF scanning processes for receiving 

• Use handheld devices to record quantities and locations accurately 

• Follow all customer requests according to established policies 

• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment 

• Clean and straighten work areas during general duties 

• Perform general custodial tasks including trash removal as needed 

• Follow established cleaning schedules 

• Report damages or disorderly areas to supervisor 

• Foster and maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere 

• Collaborate with team members to support company goals 

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently 

• Report mechanical issues to supervisor upon discovery 

• Maintain assigned equipment 

• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place 

• Completes any other related tasks as needed
   

These skills and abilities make you a great candidate for these picking Clerk | Distribution positions: 

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Combination of education and experience with previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred 

• Order picker or forklift experience highly desired or willingness to learn powered industrial equipment including order picker, walker-rider, and electronic pallet jack at heights up to 25 feet 

• Strong attention to detail with basic math skills 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and maintain a positive attitude under pressure 

• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, standing or walking for extended periods over 8 hours, and lifting 60+ pounds or moving carts over 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation 

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening 

• Must wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses 

• Ability to stand for duration of shift 

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs 

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
