Job details and duties for Welding Technician:
- Consistently produces quality welds per Company standards
- Ensures uniform, presentable weld appearance
- Adjusts welding equipment and techniques for consistent results
- Performs basic welding machine maintenance
- Suggests process enhancements
- Collaborates with team to maximize productivity
- Interprets blueprint drawings accurately
- Completes tasks assigned by management
- Meets production targets
- Participates in inventory checks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Welding Technician:
- 0-6 months of prior MIG (Aluminum) welding in manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic math skills; ability to use tape measure or other measuring device and use calculator as needed
- Basic computer skills, ability to learn internal programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Use of PPE equipment as required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
