Details for Welding position:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- $16-$18/hr, based on experience
- Potential pay increase upon hire
- 1st Shift, Monday-Friday
- 40+ hours per week
Can you see yourself in this Welding position?
- Create metal products from beginning to end, involving everything from developing weld fixtures, to layout, shaping, and welding.
- Performing MIG, TIG and Stick welding
- Fitting, tacking, and welding steel and aluminum parts in accordance with drawings and specifications using GMAW and GTAW processes.
- Proficient reading mechanical drawings
- Able to qualify welder performance in accordance with AWS and ASME codes and standards
These skills make you a great candidate:
- Minimum 1 year previous work experience in welding
- Ability to perform MIG, TIG, Stick and ARC welding
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- High School Diploma or GED
- Welding certification preferred
- Welding PPE and Equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to kneel, squat, stoop, bend, twist and reach
